Automated External Defibrillators
In
October 2008, the City of Vaughan Council, endorsed by the
Heart and Stroke Foundation, unanimously supported the
recommendation of the Vaughan Safe City Committee and
Vaughan Safe City Association, requesting the Province of
Ontario to pass province-wide legislation on the mandatory
installation of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) in
public facilities.
